Born from pure passion and creativity, Ghost is the new, trendy space open on Berawa’s Eat Street. It’s a charming bistro with a love for European food, intimate conversations, and quality company. Helmed by Kiwi Chef Time Staplefoth and his partner Jodi Langford, Ghost centres around a wood-fired grill and a vinyl-spinning record bar. All the goodies with no fluff.
The inviting interiors feature leather booths, an upstairs verandah furnished with sofas and dining tables and an open kitchen as the centrepiece. The menu is incredibly appealing and affordable enough to encourage repeat visits. From a range of starters, small plates and large, sharing is encouraged and you will want to. From small plates that include local charcuterie and the moreish sourdough waffles topped with smoked salmon and dill cream, to giant Papuan prawn burnished to perfection to a crowd-pleasing jerk pork chop with smoked pineapple, the dishes are infused with flavour, you can feel the love!
The bar and DJ booth is where you can gather with friends while listening to R&B tunes by the Ghost’s rotating roster of turntable jockies. Endearing and constantly evolving, Ghost is elevated, fun and a great addition to what is fast becoming Berawa’s Eat Street.
